We are pleased to announce that Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) is organizing the Jus Consilium Client Counselling Competition (III Edition), 2026, scheduled to be held on 16th and 17th September 2026 at the Saveetha School of Law, Chennai.
The competition aims to develop practical lawyering skills by providing participants with an opportunity to engage in simulated lawyer-client interactions. It focuses on enhancing client counselling, legal analysis, problem-solving, communication, active listening, ethical decision-making, and professional responsibility, thereby bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world legal practice.
In this regard, we have allotted 2 Counsel Pairs from our college to participate in this competition.

Aparna Natarajan and team have been allotted this competition as a Counsel Pair. (Internal Client Counselling Rank: 09)

In case of shortage of attendance, the student must add a special letter of permission to attend the competition even with the shortage of attendance. Only students with attendance over 85% with extra-curricular leaves (yellow forms) will be allowed the special permission. They must add a colored printout of the absence details where the hours missed are highlighted in green, on Espro.
Withdrawal post 24 hours after allotment of the competition will result in the blacklisting of the team.
